Chicken patties
Spicy chicken sausage patties: 3.5oz ground chicken breast,dash of onion and garlic powder;TBS minced onion,1 clove crushed garlic;cayenne pepper,black pepper and seasalt ot taste.Mix all ingredients, form into patties, fry in pan, deglaze pan with water occasionally to enhance flavor and keep chicken moist. cook thoroughly until lightly browned.
Fried Cabbage
1 TBS of olive oil in a frying pan.add onion,garlic and shredded cabbage seasoned with sea salt and pepper(u could add a lil truvia too). stir fry the cabbage until it turns a caramel brown color. so easy and absolutely delicious!
Strawberry smoothie
Just tried almond milk, truvia and frozen strawberries blended in the blender. Absolutely amazing. Great for breakfast on the run.
Bouari Gumbo
Had a follow up today.client made her version of bouari gumbo. Fried the onions, garlic,bellpeppers,parsley in lil olive oil. Added organic tomatos. Fried okra off until slime gone. Added shrimp and crabmeat and of course file’. And cooked it down. She said it was delicious. No rice though!
Raspberry vinaigrette
Have a client that uses a magic bullet. Makes raspberry vinaigrette. Olive oil,red wine vinegar,truvia and 2-3 raspberries
Chicken Tacos:
Chicken Tacos: 3.5 ounces chicken breast,1/4C. ch broth or water,1Tb. onion chopped,1 coved crush garlic,1/8 tsp. oregano,pinch cumin,cayene pepper to taste,chopped cilantro,lettuce leaves. in frying pan cook chicken in broth,add onion,garlic,spices.deglaze pan with lemon juice. serve taco style using lettuce leaves and or top with salsa.
Squash n shrimp
Squash n shrimp: clean and chop squash, 1 onion,3 cloves crushed garlic,fresh parsley,half bellpepper and cajun seasoning to taste. fry seasoning down in 1tbs olive oil. Add 3-4 squash and a lil water,cover and smother until squash tender. Drain extra liquid, add shrimp and/or crabmeat cook Add 2 egg whites, cook. And stir a minute or two longer. Enjoy! YUMMY!
Lemon Lime Aid Bouari Style:
Lemon Lime Aid Bouari Style: squeeze 1 bag of Lemons to 1/2 bag of limes add water to fill one gallon pitcher. sweeten with Truvia to taste. Positively refreshing in the dreaded New Orleans heat. recipe compliments of Adam (the super supportive boyfriend of one of our most successful clients).
